To have a cold is to live in misery. I wish I could think of something just a little more clever, but I'm really lost for words.

Yesterday morning was great, I woke up before my alarm, had a great workout and a good breakfast. Then, I started feeling a little stuffed up - my ears were popping constantly and my nose went haywire. After working all day, needless to say I was excited to get some sleep. THIS morning, I woke up again feeling much better, I could breathe, for one thing. After getting ready for the day, downing some Emergen-C and getting to work at 9:00am, again, my nose went haywire. I had two packages of those kleenex-to-go packs, finished both of them off and used 5 or 6 tissues from the box in the office at the cafe where I work.
My nose was bright red and had that crazy runny & stuffy at the same time thing going, I couldn't hear anything, and I was so miserable that I could hardly focus on what I was doing. Luckily, I got off at 12:30 and after a quick run to pick up some juice and meds, and I've been in bed ever since. Don't worry though, I haven't given up hope. I'm just not planning on any kind of recovery. Ever.

Hope you are feeling well. Cheers. :)

  1. Ha ha ha!!! Yeah, I hear you! Ruptured ear drum and hearing loss has been my bummer :) I actually think its kind of fun, I've always thought deafness was the most attractive dissability :)
